Using Dw on multiple workstations, syncing site-specific settings

Forgive me if this is a simple concept - I'm very new to Dw. I recently started using Dw, but I use two different workstations regularly to edit sites. Currently, if I change a "server setting" on my desktop machine while in the site, that won't reflect on my laptop version of the site. Is there anyway to sync site settings/where are these settings stored (can I put them in my dropbox storage and get them to be accessible from both machines)?
