How do I know which version I'm looking at?   I want to buy a good book for the entire suite.  ("Code, Split, and Live" are centered at the top of the window).

    Go to Help menu > About Dreamweaver.  The current version is CC 2019.  Owing to CC's rapid release cycle,

    books are often outdated before they reach the shelves. Your most up to date resources are online  and of course this product forum.

    In general, you press F1 for Help and see if there is an "About" option in the pop up help window
