Virtual directories

Can I have more than one virtual directory on my local pc? At the moment I have two setup in exactly the same way pointing at two different folders in my wwwroot and only one of them will allow me to see the webpages, the other says I am not authorised.

Not sure if this helps, but in IIS Console, highlight your directory, right click on it and select properties. In the Directory tab, see if the EXECUTE PERMISSIONS box has SCRIPTS ONLY selected. If not, click on the CONFIGURATION button. Maybe that will do it. Otherwise I have no other ideas.
