Is there a facility in Dreamweaver to water mark illustrations without having to watermark the originals?

    Dreamweaver is not a graphics app.   If you need copyright protection for images, use digital watermarking with this Photoshop Add-on.   Digimarc copyright protection in Photoshop

    NOTE:  Visible watermarking techniques do not protect your images and are easily removed.

    Google algorithm automatically removes watermarks from stock photos

    The only way that I know of is to manipulate the image using PHP with the GD2 extension. Google the subject or have a look at PHP: Adding watermarks to images using alpha channels - Manual
