Web site Gallery

Hello,

I was told I might have more luck in this forum,


The following programs I have are Adobe Photoshop CS5 and dreamweaver CS4.

I've already created a web page home site and would like to add a gallery page without having to edit it constantly on a FTP server.
So what I want to do is when I upload a photo to the FTP server it will automatically use all the photos in the folder that I assign and use them in a photo gallery.

how can i achieve this? I'm told something about PHP but I consider my self a novice DW person

This is a free script for automatically creating an image gallery out a folder of images.  I haven't tested it, so I don't endorse it, but this should get you started on the right path to where you're wanting to go.

In order to use it, open the index.php file it provides and follow the instructions for customizing.  Remember to make a copy of it before you alter anything.  Just in case.

It sounds to me like you're looking for a php/mysql deal.  You can also use flash to do this.

However, if you're not very familiar with code, you might want to invest in a flash gallery already built to do what you're asking:
