Web site page disappeared from Dreamweaver

I have been working on a private  project developing a photography website. I started working on this website ten years ago and before i could put the final touches on it was stolen directly from godaddy.com's web servers. I was going through hard times when the website was stolen from me and i had invested thousands of dollars teaming up with a programmer. After several years of learning adobe suite i decided to re-develop my website with the knowledge that i've learned. I started re-building my site a couple months ago and today one of my pages went missing. Like it never existed inside of Dreamweaver, the page files are not in my folders and i was just working on my services page last night. To say that i am angry is an understatement, i've been reporting to law enforcment for years and they are not supporting me well enough to retreive nothing. I had collected a fair amount of video photoage over the course of this winter that i was going to use in my new website and all of that footage was corrupted. All of my intellectual property is being stolen directly from my private computer which is kept in the bedroom of my apartment. It makes me look crazy when i tell people that i am being monitored but it is true that criminals are stealing intellectual property directly from my personal macbook pro computer. Has anybody ever heard of their website pages disappearing from your computer with no trace?

Sincerly,

I confess I don't understand your question, or what the problem is ?

Is it a data loss related to DW, a data theft related to a hacking, a data hiding related to a host, a file management problem related to the OS, a bad organization, a file corruption and this despite your vigilance?

I mean this sincerely and without any judgement whatsoever.  I wish you to seek professional medical help.   Something is not right.   Files don't magically vanish.  Criminals don't magically invade your computer when you're not looking.  More likely, you didn't save the files properly or you lost track of where you stored them.   Or perhaps you just need a new computer.  In any case, this is not a Dreamweaver problem.   It's another type of problem.

Stay safe, my friend, and get professional help.

Thanks but no thanks. Maybe you need to seek medical help, i wasn't asking you for your medical advice. The fact that you came back to commit a second time in such a negative way. Maybe you should seek medical help, I'm stronger than ever. Just say you have more money to spend on your computer and that protects you better. No Thanks

After reporting to you i was able to find a previous version of my webpage burried in the files hierarcy sidepanel of Dreamweaver. I'm still interested to hear if you have experienced this before. I am seriously keeping records against cyber cowards and intellectual property theifs. I really want my intellectual property to stay private until its published. I know private investigators are causing my comupter profile to be a corrupt. Have you ever heard of private investigators being able to byte your computer drive? I only have 125gb harddrive, 19GB for adobe, 20GB are being utilized by the operating system and another 64GB are unaccounted for. Whenever P.I. bytes the computer does it pull from its memory bank? Clear my case.

Files only totally disappear when they are deleted and the trash can is emptied. Even then, if the file has not been over written, the deleted file can still be retrieved.

In other words, NO this has NEVER happened to me.

Apart from injecting a bit of life into this comunity, the problem(s) has nothing to do with Dreamweaver. 😂

Edit: It always pays to keep a backup of your files/sites
