Hello all,

I created a website for my family.  http://www.highwayqcs.com.  When I review it in all browsers within dreamweaver it displays correctly even when I click on live preview.  But when I go the internet Firefox, Chrome and IE.... all of the links show at the bottom instead of being to the right of the picture.

It looks to me like you never defined a site in DW.

The reason I say that is because your .css file is showing a "local to your computer" file path. The only machine on the internet that can see your styles (what makes your text centered) is your machine.

In DW it's a critical first step to define a site

If you have defined a site correctly, the link to your css file should look like...

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="style.css" />

...rather than...

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" href="file:///G|/Desktop/HighwayQC/style.css" />

You will also then need to upload the .css file to the same location being referenced in the link (looks to likely be the root folder for your site). Right now, it doesn't appear to be uploaded, though it could be in a different location.

#1 Which version of DW are you using?  I ask because Flash and SWF Object script were removed from DW several years ago.  We no longer use Flash on the web because it's not well supported by mobile, tablet and desktop devices.   Flash Player will officially end in 2020.  However most modern browser have already stopped supporting it.

#2 Your code contains many errors.  In part because you're using outdated code.  And the rest is because your list and paragraph tags are unbalanced.   See below for details.

[Invalid] Markup Validation of http://www.highwayqcs.com/ - W3C Markup Validator

<ul>

      <li> List item </li>

     <li> List item </li>

     <li> List item </li>

     <li> List item </li>

</ul>

<p>This is a paragraph</p>

<p>This is a paragraph</p>
