Website Templates for Dreamweaver 2021

We would like to find a company that designs website templates that can be edited in code and design view in Dreamweaver 2021 and also, that provides support for questions that we may have as we customize the template for our clients.

Would anyone have a company that they use to purchase website templates or know of one?

Thank you.

Good luck with that. I think you'll have better success finding water in a desert.

Dreamweaver is no longer in active development and not a long-term solution for modern site owners.

If you need websites for clients, consider using WordPress. It's open-source and easy to use.

    https://WordPress.org

Do a Google search for WordPress Themes. There are thousands of free & premium Themes available, and plenty of WP experts who can create custom WP Themes for you.

    Good luck.

Whether you're using DW or any other code editor or environment, a theme is still a template... The beauty of DW is that you can play with snippets by integrating in the UI the main components offered by the theme.

Here at the studio, we've been working with https://themeforest.net/category/site-templates for several years now, and to date we've had nothing but praise to offer. All of the service providers who supply this market are very responsive to our needs, even when there is a significant time difference, updates are frequent, and the support provided by the platform is unbeatable.

Thank you very much L e n a for the link to a company that you have been working with for a while. This is very helpful and we will check it out today. We used to work with I3D Themes/Lucky Marble and he ended his company a year or more ago. We are so hopeful to find a new company similar to his. Thank you again!

Furthering about the comments on DW, something that renders in Design View, doesn't mean it will look the same online. Even if it renders in Live View, the website should still be tested online in various browsers to ensure maximum compatibility.

If you are looking to build templates for clients, it would be best to build on standards whether using frameworks like Bootstrap, or considering a templates for a CMS such as Wordpress.

I would discourage you from building a future based on Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is next to being dead. There are plenty of other options that include low/no-code web development tools. For me, I have opted for Wappler.

Wappler is a low-code software that allows you to visually build responsive websites, mobile, and desktop apps without needing extensive coding knowledge. It offers a range of features, including:

    • Visual Design Tools: Quickly build responsive page layouts using intuitive design tools.
    • Server-side Logic Builder: Create complex workflows visually without coding.
    • API Connector: Seamlessly connect to any API service and use the data in your project.
    • E-commerce: Customize e-commerce stores from scratch.
    • Version Control and Backups: Track changes and revert to previous versions if needed.
    • Hosting Freedom: No vendor lock-ins, full control over your source code.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Hello Ben and thank you so much for your reply. I started my business in 2000 using DW and have upgraded as available. I am backed up on work and new sites to start and just didn't want to learn a new editor at this time. I will certainly check out Wappler though!

    Appreciate your help.
