I need to delete a misspelling from my Dreamweaver dictionary.

How to Access This Path on Mac:
    1. Open Finder
    2. Click Go in the top menu bar.
    3. Select Go to Folder (or press Cmd+Shift+G).
    4. Paste the following:
      ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Linguistics/UserDictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/en_US/
Note: The ~/Library folder is hidden by default in macOS. Using "Go to Folder" is the fastest way to access it.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks. That worked for me. This seems like information that could be more widely disseminated through channels such as simple Help queries.

To be honest, I never use DW’s Spell Check. My files contain no text, just code.

The text copy is thoroughly checked for spelling & grammar mistakes well before it reaches the website. And then it’s added to a MySQL database where the server populates data into pages. Dreamweaver never sees any text to check.

These are the editable TEXT files you want.

    PATH ON PC:

    C:\Users > [your_name] > AppData > LocalLow > Adobe > Linguistics > UserDictionaries > Adobe Custom Dictionary > [en_US]  >

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feedback, but I found that earlier, and it was not helpful. Do you have a path or file name for Mac? Searching file content for crazy words doesn’t help either.
