This is a duplicate post.  As I said in your other one, Live view works with single-click now.  That's the normal behavior.

Simply click one time until you see a gold box around the selected area.  Or switch to Design view from your Document Toolbar.

    One click.

In the video, I'm single clicking, not double-clicking any ideas?

I tried to reinstall many times, resetting the workspace and preferences.

There is no hand tool in Dreamweaver.  Dreamweaver is code editor, not a click & drag graphic design app.

no, it seems I'm stuck in edit mode like you don't need to double click to edit something, and moving up or down the DOM doesn't work.

    its driving me nuts lol

Save your documents (Ctrl/Cmd + S) and restart Dreamweaver.

I'm talking about the live view, not design.
