where has dreamweaver stored my previous workspace?

I updated to Dreamweaver 2020 yesterday. Then deleted the older 2019, I was asked whether I want to keep the preference settings - which I did.

Now opening the new 2020 version none of my dozens of settings, workspaces, keyboard shortcuts are there.

How can I get them all back?

I have had another look at the sync settings and found where I was going wrong...

Go to Dreamweaver > Sync Settings > Manage Sync Settings...

Select IMPORT SYNC SETTINGS, check all the settings to sync at the bottom,

Click on Apply updates.

You are then given the option of import the settings from the PREVIOUS version of Dreamweaver

And it works!

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

Hiya,

That would have been helpful had the instructions to sync being so vague. I recall last time I did the wrong thing by UPloading my settings rather than DOWNloading the ones already on the server.

I think it needs to have a clearer explanation of what you are about to do and does a check saying "are you sure you want to replace the settings on the server with the new blank ones from the latest installation"

Meanwhile do you know where my OLD settings are that the deletion process what meant to be keeping for me?
