Where is columns?

Cols in code mean nothing. The code itself will typically change color when errors are present.  Often the problem is higher up the chain than initially reported.

In this example, there's a missing </style> tag.  But it reports the problem on line 25.

Row is the horizontal position, column is the vertical position. As an example in the following line

 

Newbie here. I am trying to locate where in my code there is an issue , it tells me the line and column but where can I find the column?

an "r" is located in column 10
