white on black text

when i save a file on my dream weaver. once i open it the text is white on a black screen. im sure this is a rookie mistake.

i can type on the page however i can not code as the functionalities dont work.

Which operating system?
Is the white text displaying in Code | Design or Live View?
Are you working with error-free code denoted by a green checkmark under the document?
Does this occur with ALL files or just certain ones?
