Why can I no longer stop autoplay on Dreamweaver?

For a long time I've used Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 for uploading and managing my website and never had a problem with stopping autoplay when posting video or sound clips. But suddenly the Parameters box has disappeared from my screen and so I can't insert the proper info in order to stop autoplay. As a result, all my video and sound clips now start playing the moment you click on certain pages on my site and it's awful!  How can I get back that Parameters option box and stop this from happening?

Have you tried resetting preferences -

https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html

Also has your OS been updated recently, as windows 10 updates can cause problems on some installations.

Hello,

Adding to what 'pziecina' has mentioned you can also fo through this doc - How to add media objects to Dreamweaver web pages and see if it helps in anyway!
