Why does Dreamweaver suddenly need AAM for it to work?
Last year in November I started a course in which we had to learn the ins and outs of Dreamweaver. It was already installed on the pcs when we walked into the classroom. We had to choose "install activated version" and then "sign in later" option and didn't see any indication that it was a 30-day trial version. I didn't see a Creative Cloud Desktop app either. We were using the 2015 version and I downloaded online to use on my laptop a home. It was working fine and back then I didn't even know the CC Desktop app or AAM even existed. A few weeks ago I got a new laptop and now when I try to run Dreamweaver 2015, it says the AAM is corrupted or missing and I need to reinstall it. I installed AAM and now when I open DW it reminds me that I'm using a trial version. My main concern is that I don't want AAM and the CC Desktop app because they consume of my laptops memory. Why do I need them now when I didn't need them back when I was using DW on my old laptop and workstation in class?
