Why the circular image?

The image at the bottom that says "Placeholder Picture" is round, but the image is a regular. Why is there a circle clipping out part of the square?

That's round because the image uses the profile-img class. That class gives a 50% border-radius in the css turning the square container into a circle.

    1. Open your site in a browser like Firefox or Chrome.
    2. Right-click on an element and select Inspect Element
    3. The developer panel shortcut is F12.
