Hi Dan,
We currently gather very little in the way of metrics, it's purely justice download data. Now while it's hard for me to know just by the numbers alone they do sound like they could be right but how could this be? Let's break it down...
We track the number of unique users, they can have the add-on automatically download to all their CC connected computers, so if some have 2 computers that would double some of the download numbers for example.
The next thing that bumps up the download numbers is any patches/updates you do. So lets say you have 100 unique users, some may have more than 1 computer so it could easily be say 150+ downloads and then when there is a patch all the computers get that download so it would suddenly be 300+ after the patch and after another patch another 300+.
Now I realize this kind of data is of limited value on it's own so we are working on a whole new front end and back end with lots more analytics. It's too soon to say what data we will have but I expect it to be a lot more including things like page views. So my advice is upload any relevant add-ons you have and they will be migrated and you will just need to update your preview images and any video because that is all getting improved as well.
Best regards,
Jonathan
