Question

Cannot install add-ons

The past few weeks I have been trying to install Add-ons to several apps incl. Photoshop, Animate and After Effects and none of them work.

I have the latest CC 2017 version installed. All sync preferences have been turned on.

I had someone from Adobe customer service checking logging into my machine, and after spending 30 minutes on it, he suggested it was a permissions issues. I have checked with IT and I have full permission to install everything. I also have an external plugin in Photoshop that works perfectly, so it's the ones from the cloud service that doesn't work.

Now I just tried again and got the following error on my Creative Cloud app:

"The Add-on Additional animation presets for After Effects failed to install: Failed to validate the license online"

It's the only error I ever got with all the trials I've had. Any help please??

I'm on Windows 10.

Thanks

Maybe Yours internet policy blocking some IP's or hostnames (it could be even whole subnet) from Adobe, which is provided in authorization process?

The IT team here has confirmed they don't block anything in particular. This is the only thing that doesn't install.

Even when trying to install the add-ons manually doesn't work. And I get the error saying there's no compatible app installed in my machine, which is not the case.

Just realised that the Creative Cloud Library works, it's the only add-on that works. Not sure if it's an add-on like the others, but it's in my list of add-ons.
