Custom extension stopped working in InDesign CC 2019

FYI ... I posted this in the InDesign forum and it was suggested that I post here.

I just upgraded to CC 2019 and I have an extension that I inherited and was working fine until I upgraded to CC 2019.  Now when I open the extension Window > Extensions > My Extension the window pops up, but nothing shows in it like it used to.

I deleted the files from the AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions folder and re-published them, but it still does the same thing.

I tried accessing the debugging console at http://localhost:8090 (worked in CC 2018) and it just fails.

I don't know where to start troubleshooting, but any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I got it to work, as I had to add the PlayerDebugMode into my Windows Registry for the new version of InDesign.
