Distribute plugin private.

As someone who is used to the early CC versions of Flash/Animate where extensions were easy to create and distribute, the current process is very difficult to understand. It looks like we have to use the Exchange Program. This is fine except there is no way to distibute in private 

Creating a listing in the "market" does have a private option but is greyed out with "This feature will be available in the future."

Question - any eta on this future date when it is possible to distribute privately?
