How to remove an add-on completely - can't made a Package without add-on

Hi all,

I have got a big problem with a special database plugin we use.

We have to change the database completely, so this add-on is useless.

But I can't remove the external add-on without an error message and stopping packing.

I know there is a workaround using IDML.

But I hope to find an other way (we have made more than 4000 files with this add-on).

What can I do?
