How to start?

Hey guys,

pretty new to this. I got some questions and maybe you can help me out:

- what's important when creating an extension?

- do I have to use Adobe Exchange to sell the extension?

- are there any special requirements for Adobe Exchange?

- is the extension legally protected in some way, so adobe is not able to just implement the idea themselves?

Would be awesome to get some answers for my questions.

Please visit our Creative Cloud Partner Marketing page for non technical guides on creating extensions.

- do I have to use Adobe Exchange to sell the extension?

You do not, but then it becomes harder for us to offer guidance around the success of your extension and measure how successful it is in driving adoption.

- are there any special requirements for Adobe Exchange?

Adobe IO and the Marketing page will have lots of guidelines on how to create an extension.

- is the extension legally protected in some way, so adobe is not able to just implement the idea themselves?
