Hello,We are having a extension which is working fine in InDesign CC 2017, now we are trying to use the same with InDesing CC 2018 with supported CEP version 8.0. Currently I have a script that I wrote which runs when I go toFile -> Scripts -> Other Script...I then select my script it opens and runs.To maximize the efficiency and eliminating the selection of the script each time, I went and added it to the CEP Html Extensions panel.Here I set it up so when you click a button it would run the script.  However it isn't working.I tested it in Chrome and verified the script is there but it doesn't run.  I only tested to ensure the script was there and being selected in chrome.  I didn't actually expect it to open illustrator file from there.  The basic script opens up a file in illustrator and places some text on the file.Am I missing something as to how a script can be executed from CEP?

Hi, I'm trying the Particle Builder free package, but I have a problem. The effects only last about 0.5 seconds, which is how long they work perfectly but then you don't see them anymore. Is that a limitation? Thank youI'll explain myself better. The effect works perfectly, but it's been impossible for me to get it to last longer than that. I don't know if it's an After Effects configuration, an incompatibility or what it is, but nothing similar has ever happened to me, I've tried the different options of each effect, with solids, videos, etc... with the same result. I can not give more explanations because I have no idea what happens.As soon as the composition arrives that time the effect disappears. I can see how the Emitter follows the indicated displacement, but the effect is not seen. Thanks.

Hi all,I am trying to find the trick to debug the JSX part of an extension while I run it. I can debug the javascript referenced by the HTML fine, but not the JSX. I tried various tricks I read about other CC apps, but I must be missing something...Help appreciated!

Here's the sitch:- I wanted to try "Animator's Toolbar Pro Trial" and clicked "Install", on the corresponding Adobe Exchange Website.- I waited some time for the sync to happen.- I opened Photoshop, looked in "Window > Extension" and found only "Color Themes"I tried the above procedure three times.Then I tried "Anastasiy's Extension Manager", as advertised by Adobe. It says that the extension is already installed and I need to first uninstall it in order to reinstall it. So I head back to Photoshop and check, but it is not visible in the menu.I go back to the Exchange Website and click "Uninstall", wait for the sync. Try the Extension manager, but it still says that the extension is installed.QUESTIONS:- Should I manually remove the extension? If Yes: where? I'm on macOS Mojave.- What would be a different approach?FURTHER INFO:- I just updated PS to the latest version today, Feb. 12th.

Hi,I am trying to show some tooltip against the elements in my HTML panel. I am using the 'title' attribute for showing the tooltips. They show up when I open the HTML in a browser but are not displayed when it is opened as an extension panel in any of the Adobe apps e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator etc. I am using the CC version. Is anything amiss? Thanks in advance.

I use Lightroom Classic CC 8.1 for MacOS, with all the latest updates.  I am now developing a backup solution. Clearly I need to back up the folders with my photos, and the lrcat file.  What else? Specifically, which of these need to be backed up?  I expect both the Previews files can be rebuilt as-needed.  What about the Helper?LightroomPersonal Helper.lrdata/LightroomPersonal Previews.lrdata/LightroomPersonal Smart Previews.lrdata/LightroomPersonal.lrcat Furthermore, there seem to be other critical components in ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroomwhich seem to include plug-ins and setting files.It would be nice to know what needs to be backed-up, and when restoring from back-up, how and what needs to be re-installed or replaced.

hi, we have an extension in adobe exchange, it supports only premiere pro, but recently we added some configuration to our plugin to support aftereffects to. now it works well in aftereffects, we updated the manifest.xml file and uploaded the new zxp in adobeexchange, but still in our product page in supported softwares only we can see premiere pro, i searched all the admin dashboard to update our product compatibility but we didn't find anything!event i sent some emails for help no one answered!can you help me to solve this problem ASAP!thanks[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the Exchange forum... I need a slider for my panel, that can support 4 handles – I need to have something that is close to BlendIf slider, that splits the handle in two.I tried using https://refreshless.com/nouislider/Surprisingly, it works in CC2015.5 and CC2017, but anything above that – slides do not move.Does anybody have a clue why?Or maybe you know any other nice slider that would work from CS6 to CC2019?Thanks[ moved from Photoshop Scripting to Extensions / Add-ons Development by moderator ][ title changed by moderator ]

I have been using this program and down loading and saving prints for over 2 years, I would comment on prints and print them off and all is good. In the last few days I down load prints as normal and comment on them as normal and when i print them, the comments do not show up. What is going on here? Please help.

I'm about to launch my Adobe InDesign extension via the Adobe Exchange Marketplace, but I'm concerned about security: I'd like to know what copy protection or license scheme is used by Adobe/Fastspring? I would like to make sure that the plugin can only be used by the buyer. And if the customer stops paying for his subscription, the license will eventually expire and be locked. I have a CEP panel that needs to do something when a document is opened in dreamweaver. Is there a function that triggers when the user opens a document?So basically "when a document is opened, do something?"

Tenho um notebook HP onde venho ha anos trabalhando com LR sem problemas.  Desde ontem as teclas das flechas direita, esquerda, cima e baixo nao estao mais funcionando.  Nao consigo mudar de foto e nem ajustar os cortes com elas.A tecla F que abre a foto em tela cheia ,para voltar ao tamanho normal também nao esta respondendo, e preciso fechar o programa para sair da tela cheia.Alguma configuracao que sedesconfigurou?

Hello I have adobe after effects cc 2018.From Windows->extensions->Adobe color themesfor example which was installed when after effect was installed(it's a default extension) or other ones when I click on them.They open and I can see them for a fraction of second but they close immediately.I just want to keep them open.How can I do that?I tried to make a regedit string under user..->software->adobe->csxs.8 and added "PlayerDebugMode" with value of 1.As suggested a lot of places.And this didn't help.

Hi,I want to get the meta data of the document when open..so i have used "documentAfterActive" event and get meta data of the opened document in indesign..but if font missing dialog/any other dialog shown then that function returns the following error..I have also tried with user interaction level but did not worked..Pls help
