Install Photoshop Generator plugin via Adobe Exchange

Hi

Is it possible to install Photoshop Generator plugin via Adobe Exchange the same way as you're able to install panel extension? Our company created a Generator plugin which is based on Image Assets which comes bundled with Photoshop. But so far we didn't find a way on how to install it using Adobe Add-ons / Adobe Exchange, so for now we're providing a standalone installer. It does the job, but it's quite cumbersome to handle different Photoshop versions, operating systems, push a new version to users when we update the plugin, etc. Any help or tip would be much appreciated!

Best regards!

Hi Mojca,

If you have not already installed the Creative Cloud desktop app, please download and install it from https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html

1. Please Open the CC Desktop App, then please log into https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons.

2. Then click on ‘Remove’, then ‘Install’. Please wait a few moments, then check the ‘Activity Stream' in the CC Desktop App, and confirm if it states that installation was successful, or failed?

3. If it failed, please provide us with the exact error message and its screenshot.

4. If it says successful, please read the ‘Where to Find it’ tab on the add-on homepage (link above) which will tell you where you can find the product after it has been installed.

5. Also please make sure that file sync is on in CC app and you have logged in with the same adobe id (from which the add-on was purchased) in CC desktop app and https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons

You can try this with free add-ons available on our portal.

For manual installation of your product you can follow steps (You need to have the ZXP of the product):

1. http://install.anastasiy.com/ go to this extension manager to install or

Follow the link in order to install your ZXP file for your add-on by using ExMan Command Line Tool

Hope this will help. Thanks!

Hey Kanika,

Sorry for late response, but this doesn't answer my question. I wanted to know how do we publish our generator plugin for Photoshop to Adobe Exchange so that users would be able to install it via Creative Cloud app.

Best regards
