Maya Live Link will not install

I can't get Maya Live Link to install. It doesn't install in folder where is says it should be. I do not get an administrator request to install. I disabled my firewall and ad blockers. I have trouble shoot this for most of this morning and can't get it to work. It says at "apps acquired" but nothing happened. It did not install. Yes, file syncing is on. I am using the latest adobe cc desk top app.
