Question

"Server error encountered. Please try after sometime." when posting an extension patch.

Since yesterday, I have repeatedly tried to submit my patch and still get this resulting server error. Is this because the North America office is on holiday vacation? Who's manning the server? Did I do something wrong with my submission?

Thanks for coming back.

Yes I did. Have also tried Safari/Chrome on Monterey, as well as Edge/Chrome on Win11. So doesn't feel like a browser issue.

Apologies, watching the video above again this is perhaps not exactly the same issue:

I see in the video, Pixelsplasher is trying to upload a zip. If I change the extension from .zxp to .zip the file uploads ok and the 'Product compatability information' selection opens and I can click 'Save & Next' without issue. I submitted it like this for review earlier today, but was rejected because it didn't install.

If I try to upload the same file with .zxp extension the 'Product compatability information' is not displayed on the page and clicking 'Save & Next' results in a similarly worded error to the one in video.

Is it a problem with the package possibly? My .zxp is packaged using instructions in the Getting Started Guide with a self-signed certificate and installs fine manually on other systems. I did not nclude a .mxi as I don't think I need to in this case.

I managed to solve this problem before by allowing blocked cookies. In Google Chrome, there is a padlock icon before the address bar url that you can click to access a list of Cookies and unblock them.
