Updating extension when debugging

Hi,

When debugging I used to close the extension and restart it via the Window/Extensions to update it in Photoshop.

I only needed to restart Photoshop if the Manifest was modified.

Now I NEED TO RESTART PHOTOSHOP for a minimal change in a file, this is quite BORING.

Is this a bug, do I have system problems or is there a setting to reset so I don't need to restart every time I move a button 2 pixels to the right?

All comments are appreciated

Pierre

Do you use Remote debugging with Cefclient?

Thanks for your comment.

I am sorry for the confusion. In reality I am not debugging my extension, I am only relocating my 261 buttons to add space for a few more buttons. After that I will be debugging the addition I want.

In the preceding version of Photoshop, we could update the loaded extension by closing it and reopen it directly in Photoshop.

With the present version we need to exit Photoshop and restart it to see the change we have made. This take's a lot of time.

Many thanks for the information about "remote debugging" I will look into it.
