Question

Why do none of my pluggins appear in Photoshop?

I have several pluggins that I regularly use but since I switched from Mac to PC, none of them are even displaying in my pluggins tab. Some of them are installed via their executable, others are manually placed inside the correct folder (I have even tried manually placing them in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC). No matter what, when I launch Photoshop, the Pluggins panel is empty and all of the options just take me to the Creative Cloud store (which may I add is really not remotely helpful).

There could be a couple of things going on here. Please email asupport@adobe.com.

    1. If you purchased the plugins throught the Adobe Exchange for Creative Cloud, you'll need to reinstall them using the same AdobeID you used when you bought them. Log out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, restart the computer (just to be sure), and log in again.

    2. The plugins might not be compatible with the version of Photoshop running on your PC.

    3. If number 2 is the case, you could reaach out to the developer...or you could change the version numbers in the manifest yourself... but once you do that you'll break the code signature you'll have to turn on debug mode:  https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/Getting-Started-guides/tree/master/Client-side%20Debugging#set-the-debug-mode Where it says "CSXS 8" you'll need to use "11".

If you try #3 above it will also clear up problem #1.

    4. There are a couple of different possible intstallation folders: https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/CEP-Resources/blob/master/CEP_11.x/Documentation/CEP%2011.1%20HTML%20Extension%20Cookbook.md#extension-folders You might have the wrong one.

That said you mentioned executables, so it's possible your plugin is installing things elsewhere as well.

Do let me know if any of this works!
