browser back button not working on single click

I am new to AEM development,

When I open the page and click on one of the tile ,it will open a respective tile page in same tab and then when I try to navigate back button icon arrow on browser it doesn’t go back to previous tile page on single click. and takes 6-7 clicks to go back to the tiles page which doesn’t happen with other tiles which linked to other pages.

why browser back button is not working, can someone help me what are the mandatory checkpoints I need to check first? is it related js or from components level?
