Fireworks 8, Win10, Plug Ins

My Fireworks 8 won’t open (panic).....it gets stuck "Initializing Plug-Ins" after app double click to open.  Any ideas on how I might be able to apply a little software CPR+TLC to resuscitate?

    Hi Ken,

     

    Do you have third party plugins installed?

     

    Also try right click on Fireworks shortcut and 'run as adminsitrator' if you are on on Windows?

    Uninstall and reinstall.  Run the Adobe Cleaner tools first.
