Fireworks como convertir imágenes en webp

Me gustaria saber como convertir imagenes webp en Fireworks para poder utilizarlas en mi proyecto de prismáticos pues todas las imagenes que uso pesan mucho y cuando las exporto para la web el formato que obtengo es jpeg pero google dice que me adapte a los nuevos formatos pues ese es muy pesado.

    Use ColorQuantizer to convert your PNG files to webp. Free, and includes a quality preview when saving as webp. And also happens to be the best PNG optimization tool around (much better than Fireworks, for example).

    Hello - I don't think it can be done in Fireworks and to my knowledge there isn't a plug-in for Fireworks to do this. You could do the conversion in Photoshop with a plugin
