Fireworks CS3 - keeps on trying to reach https://www.adobeereg.com

Hi I have recently formatted my laptop and re-installed my licenced copy of Adobe Firworks CS3. However when launching the application it brings up another window that normally would go through the registration/activation process. However the website it tries to reach is https://www.adobeereg.com/ which does not exist anymore. I am unable to progress as the window cannot be closed and the app cannot be used.

Please advise on how I move forward now and use Adobe Fireworks CS3. I assume some file may need editing to point to the new URL or a patch?
