Fireworks CS5 in Win 10?

Hi,

I presently am using Adobe Fireworks CS5 with Win 7 Pro 64-bit and am about to upgrade (not a clean install) to Win 10 Pro 64-bit.  I absolutely love this program and would really like to hear from anyone who has been able to make it work in Win 10.

Thanks.

One of my concerns is the process of moving to Win 10 from Win 7.  I plan to upgrade, not do a clean install.  Is there anything I need to do re: FW CS5 and this process?  I have heard that some had to uninstall their software and then upgrade to Win 10, and then install again.  I have heard some say to deactivate their Adobe software before upgrading to Win 10.  Did you do any of these things, or did you just upgrade to Win 10 and everything worked well?

Actually, I mainly heard the above concerns re: CS6 Creative Suite, which I also have.

I did a clean install. So cannot really comment. But would suggest maybe you uninstall/resinstall. Only issue is you need to re-install all your extensions.

Yip, same with me, works perfectly. Actually, In the old days I would have Firework Crash every so often, seems like it is more stable than ever.

Fireworks CS6 is fine on Windows 10 I'd be surprised is CS5 didn't work too.
