Fireworks errors

Hi

I tried top run Fireworks this morning and I'm getting the following error...

To make matter worse I've tried to uninstall the program via the Windows Control Panel and via the Adobe CC desktop app. Fireworks is not shown in the installed programs list in my control panel and the CC desktop app shows Fireworks with the message "uninstall unavailable" under the cog dropdown.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I am all of a sudden getting this very same error.  Can I get some assistance in solving?  I have tried re-installing CS6 and this did not fix the problem.  I am running Windows 10, and the software worked until yesterday.

    Have you had any luck with the reinstall? I am running Fireworks CS6 on a Win 10 PC and my MacBook Pro, so they haven't rendered it EOL (end of life) yet...

    I have had to uninstall Fireworks once, but when I added it back in from the Desktop Manager, it installed and worked fine.

    What OS are you using?

    Hi Anissa

    I've managed to uninstall it and then re-install it (via the Desktop Manager). Unfortunately I'm getting the exact same error as before.

    I'm really at a loss what to do with it now.

    Ok, let's give this another approach:

    Adobe - Fireworks Support Center : Downloads : Updaters

    Let us know if the direct installers will work for you. I did a test run on one of my older laptops and got a successful run.
