Fireworks File Opening Crashes

Suddenly my Fireworks application stops opening files or doing something with files. With some escapes i can makes the menu items visible and working again, but when clicking on it (eg open file) nothing happens and we first have to esc again.

On another computer I have no problems at all. Something is wrong between the directory structure and Fireworks communicating without a (for me) clear cause.

Can someone help me out? Im am using CS4 with version 10.0.0.0.95
