My Fireworks doesnt work anymore. I got creative cloud, but it wants me to fill in a license key.

Kind regards, Vincent

    1. Open CC Desktop App.
    2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
    3. Click on your Avatar again.
    4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
    5. Close all apps.
    6. Restart your computer.
    7. Open CC Desktop app.
    8. Click your Avatar.
    9. Sign-in with your paid Adobe ID and password.

When prompted, hit License this product. If it fails to launch, try installing Muse.  Don't ask why but it seems to work for some people.

Thank you so much! Installing Muse worked for me too. I love my little old Fireworks and am delighted to be able to continue using it 😄

Please, what is Muse?  I am not familiar with it.  Where do you download it from?

Do you have a creative cloud full or student/teacher subscription?

Close Fireworks. launch the Creative Cloud app and logout.... Relaunch Fireworks, if you see a 'License This Software' button (check out the forums too for other solutions).

Also try running FIreworks as an administrator

Other thing you can try is to uninstall Fireworks completely, then install with an offline installer instead from here *NOTE* Make sure you visit this page first before downloading to set an Adobe cookie, these are links to official Adobe installers. I always install Fireworks with the offline installer and have not had any issues running/using Fireworks on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Assumption here is you are on a PC?
