Fireworks MX 2004 Activation

Hi,

Can anyone help me to get around the activation window that has now locked me out of the program?

It accepts the registration number but there's no response to the online activation. Thanks.

    If you follow the instructions here it should work and you should be able to activate Fireworks MX 2004:

    Error, "Unable to Activate" in Macromedia legacy products

    The screenshots may be slightly different, the process is

    step 1) look for and click the activate by phone option

    step 2)  from that screen  return to/click the activate over internet option

    step 3) enter the appropriate key for Fireworks MX 2004 from list of keys on the Adobe link I posted above

    Adobe Fireworks CS6 is still available btw. But only with an Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription.

      Hi,

      Its such an old version the activation probably won't work. If you have a valid license you could try reaching out to Adobe support or take a look at this article:

      Thanks. I think it may be the end of a great run with that program.

      Any suggestions on a similar product to replace Fireworks?
