Question

How do I get a license for Fireworks?

I have contacted Adobe to ask to purchase a valid key for Fireworks CS6. They have directed my to subscribing to Creative Cloud, however, I do not want to pay for applications I won't use. Creative cloud has deleted my copy of Fireworks and the newest version will not show me the older apps. They have told me to post here so I can get a product license for Firework CS6. Please help.

Yes. I don't want a subscription to programs I won't use. I want Fireworks CS6 and only that program.

If you have a subcription for Creative Cloud, you can still load Fireworks.

Older versions of Adobe Creative Cloud
    Here's how:
    • Click the Creative Cloud icon, located in the taskbar (Windows) or Apple menu bar (Mac OS), to open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. ...
    • In the Find Additional Apps section, choose Previous Versions > View Previous Versions.
    • Scroll to the app you want to download and click the Install button.

The forums are for the most part user to user and wouldn't be able to help you with licensing. If you want to use Fireworks CS6, as far as I know you'll need a student/teacher of full Creative Cloud Subscription

Yes that's what I thought   however I was told to go here by the Adobe Chat help as they said they couldn't help me with my request but the forum could (!??).

They passed me on to 3 different agents before the last one sent me here.

Adobe pretty much pretends Fireworks doesn't exist despite the fact a lot of people still use it... All I can tell you is  you'll need a creative cloud subscription to use Fireworks.
