License Problem

So it seems I am not alone - maybe some more "posts" will get someone to do something.  Never had a problem until today.  I open Fireworks and it asks for a license.  Come on Adobe.  I pay $50ish dollars a month and all I mainly use is Fireworks.  Let's get this fixed.  I am running the latest version of Windows 10 on an MSI Laptop.

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H1
Installed on ‎4/‎22/‎2021
OS build 19043.1023
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0

Have you tried the workaround that has worked for some people?

navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDapp.exe => right click the exe => compatability tab => check 'run this program as an adminstrator => click OK

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Fireworks CS6\Fireworks.exe => right click the exe => compatability tab => make sure 'run this program as an administrator' is NOT checked.

Do a system restart for good measure and see if you can launch/run  Fireworks without the nag screen...

Thanks - will give it a try - I did figure out a work around by going to an older computer and running it - I think it must be a Windows update issue as it worked on my older PC.  I would prefer to use my shiny new PC 🙂 but at least I have an option.  Thanks for the quick response.
