Question

macOS Catalina 10.15 cannot find or install Fireworks!

I have just signed up for Creative Cloud on my Mac. I used to work with Fireworks on my windows 7, but it's become too slow and unusable. In the sign-up it showed I would have access to fireworks, but even after downloading the creative Cloud destop app and switching my preferences to "show older apps" I get nothing... adobe support is just giving me the run around saying it's no longer supported - I just need the download link... if that exists?

    @Violetta5EEC,

    FW is a relic from a bygone era.  If you still have a Windows machine, it might work or it might not.  But FW has no future.  Use another graphics app like Photoshop or Illustrator.

    It's not a relic, that's why so many people still use it. Might be best if people who don't even use the software don not come over to the Fireworks forum to cast their dark shadow and negativity...

    It's not??  Maybe you can still use it with an older system but that's not true for "so many people."

      An object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of sentimental interest but is now outmoded.

    Suggesting that one can keep using incompatible software on a modern system is being disingenuous to fellow product users.  FW can't run on modern Apple devices.  Nothing will change that.  Product development ceased in 2012 so it is what it is, a relic.

    Hi - Catalina and Big Sur don't support 32 bit apps, so  the only way to run Fireworks in those scenarios is to use something like Parallels Desktop
