reinstall fireworks?

hi guys, my fireworks is not working and I need to unistall and reinstall, before I do just checking I can still reistall today?  Dont want to lose it forever, thanks

1) Are you getting an error message?

2) Have you recently updated your OS? Mac Catalina and Big Sur cannot run Fireworks natively as they cannot run 32 bit apps.

Try in the first instance resetting you preferences folder, just rename the folder, for example to FireworksBK and then try launching Fireworks.

Windows path to preferences folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS6

Mac path to preferences folder: /Users/Your User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks
