We want Adobe Fireworks to support the webp, svg and other new vectorel extensions. Fireworks is still being used by many people and company. So can you publish an update on this?

And if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. 🙂

That's never going to happen. Everybody who formerly worked on Fireworks left the building years ago.

Google makes a free webp extension for Photoshop CC.

Both Illustrator and Inkscape support the latest SVG file types.

Hope that helps.

The FW developers are gone.  Nobody can hear you.

There are some SVG extensions for Fireworks:

https://johndunning.com/fireworks/about/SVG

https://fireworks.abeall.com/extensions/commands/Export/

https://github.com/joshje/svg-for-web

They work to one degree or another, Adobe stopped adding new features to Fireworks back in 2013 so it's unlikely they'll be any new features, unless someone at Adobe has a miraculous change of heart!
