We're cancelling our Subscription, can no longer launch fireworks

The only reason we have the subscription is because of fireworks.

Tried everything and it says our subs has expired. I'm assuming this is because the launcher for fireworks that was written in the day before IE shifted to Edge and now onto the Chromium engine.

Its a sad day, will have to see if I can find a secondhand licence.

    Which operating system do you have?

     

    If you have a supporting OS and a PAID Creative Cloud ALL Apps plan, it should still work albeit as well as can be expected given it's advanced age.  FW has not been updated since 2012 when it was discontinued.

     

    Some users report that downloading Muse allows them to get beyond the FW licensing prompt.

    I know all this, I've tried the Muse trick and it doesn't work.

    Have all Apps with Windows 10, 

     

    Went through support and they ended by saying we don't support this anymore, try the community...... to be fair that was my first port of call and support was my last...... and support was a complete waste of time.

    Did you log-in to your Adobe account to confirm your account status is active and payment details are current?

    1. Open CC Desktop App.
    2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
    3. Click on your Avatar again.
    4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
    5. Close all apps.
    6. Restart your computer.
    7. Open CC Desktop app.
    8. Click your Avatar.
    9. Sign-in with your paid ID and password.

     

    Right-click on Fireworks and select Run as Administrator.
