"19.0 r0 stopped working" keeps popping up!

I have Vista on my older laptop.  I mainly use the laptop for email, Facebook, nothing critical.

However, since I have installed FP version 19.0.0.185, (19 NPAPI) which is supposed to be the latest version, it will not work and the message in the subject line above keeps popping up.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.  I even tried to install an earlier version but that didn't work either.  I disabled my Panda antivirus but that doesn't help either.

I want to be able to stream a tv show.  What can I do?  Thanks a million!
