2 identical webcams, 1 html page

right, I have 2 identical webcams, 2 identical swf files on one html page, each of which is supposed to display the view of it's assigned webcam,  however they both display the view from one webcam.   when I right click and go to the webcam settings they are both listed but no matter how much I try to select the other webcam just the first one is used. please help.
