a rant against the latest Flash update: McAffee Security Scan Plus????

Upon computer start up  Adobe Flash wanted me to install an update. And it wanted to sneak in McAffee Security Scan Plus:

Yes, install the free McAfee Security Scan Plus utility to check the status of my PC security. It will not modify existing antivirus program or PC settings.

I know all I had to do is to check it off. But I'm ready to start my day. I'm busy with other things. But now I feel I have to read the small print of every Adobe Update, and watch out for checked boxes and radio buttons and other little "agreements".

I own some Adobe stocks, I own some of Adobe programs.

But Adobe you broke my trust. You are on probation.

(Do you know how much $$ it'll cost you in marketing to even that out. Is McAffee really paying you so much?)

Well, don't make yourself uneasy. I'll take you into review in 10 years.

Until then think about greed.

(Not sure that this is the right place to post it. I tried to break down Adobe corporate doors with an email. But they are so guarded and seem to have little interest in customer contact. I wonder why?)
