adboe presenter problems

desktop config:

hp desktop 6000 pro.

cpu:e7500 core2 duo cpu 2.93g

sata hard disk

problems: when i use adobe presenter to listening online course, the nework speed became slow, and sound playing is very bad.

current solution: turn off core2 functions from BIOS, the problems is solved.

is there someone can explan this issue to me? and give me a better solution without turn off core2 functions?
