adobe 11.8 xw_control.xml file missing

USAToday crossword won't load now as the aforementioned file is

missing. Was working fine before updating to 11.8 flash player.

    USAToday crossword will not work now after i updated my adobe flash player. it was working fine before. what is it with this?
