I am trying to view photos or videos through chrome but it says I must download flash (which I have done a million times) when I go to download it yet again, it says it is already installed but may be disabled. When I follow how to enable it, the option is not there to enable Flash. Help.

Hi kelliem59161898,

Please provide the following information:

The Enable for Chrome page, which I assume is what you are referring to, has instructions to go to chrome://plugins to enable Flash Player.  There is an alternate method to enable/disable plugins.  Please do the following:

  1. Launch Chrome
  2. In the address field type: chrome://settings/content
  3. In the window that displays, scroll down to Plugins
  4. Ensure 'Run all plugin content' is selected

I hate this computer, I don't know how to do anything on it. I can't even figure out how to screen print that stuff the way it tells you to on this thing. I tried to change the plug ins the way you explained also and it did not have that option either.

Hi kelliem59161898,

I'm sorry for your frustrations.  If you're using Chrome these are the only two options (via browser UI) to enable/disable plugins.  If you're not seeing these then something is wrong with your Chrome installation.  This is the reason I asked for the screenshots. This FAQ How to post a screenshot in the forum describes how to take a screenshot on OS X and Windows and how to attach that to your post.
