Adobe Flash

I have been trying to download Adobe Flash Point for several hours now.  It says it is downloaded, and it shows up in installed programs, but when I go into anything that needs adobe, I get the message that I need to download Adobe 9 or higher.  I have removed and re-installed the program at least one dozen times today, and still cannot get it to work.  I have called Adobe support 5 times and either get put on hold, with no one coming back on the line, or get referred to this forum.  I have called Dell for support, and they want $239.00 to go in and check my system.  I just paid Office Depot $199.00 yesterday to Dianose & Repair my computer after getting a virus.  After calling them they say that nothing they did would keep Adobe from be able to perform correctly.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to turn to now?

    What is your OS?

    What is your browser?

What is "Adobe Flash Point" - do you mean Adobe Flash Player?

What is "Adobe 9" - Adobe Reader 9?  Adobe makes many products; it helps if you specify the full and exact product name.

Now, since you posted in the Adobe Flash Player forum, we assume that you have a problem with Flash Player.  Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - can you see the Flash animation and a product version beneath it?

Please answer all questions, and someone will be able to help you.
